Welcome to 1st Bassmasters.
If you are serious about improving your fishing skills by fishing local tournaments with some of the best bass anglers in the area, then 1st BASSMASTERS is for you.
Established in 1975, 1st Bassmasters of Sullivan Co. NY is one of the oldest B.A.S.S. affiliated clubs in New York State.

1st Bassmasters is made up of anglers as concerned with the friendship and camaraderie of Club membership, as they are with the competition of tournaments.

This season we are offering a diverse and exciting Tournament Schedule featuring 12 Club events on a wide selection of varying bodies of water.   We will also hold our annual Open Tournament this season on the mighty Hudson River, launching out of Catskill NY.

Several of our members also compete on the State level. Each season the top 6 Club Members in the final Club standings make up a 6 Man Team which travels to compete against clubs from all around New York State in the NY State BASS Chapter Federation’s Club Team Championship.  Our Team finished 7th at the State Championship in 2006.

If being a part of this sounds interesting to you, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
